Overall, this is a great jersey and I'm happy with my purchase. I personally do like the Mitchell & Ness jerseys, especially their cut. Both the stichting and materials are great!
Now could the back numbers on this particular jersey be slightly lower to better replicate the original look from 1971? Sure. And the same goes for the laces - they are way shorter and round whereas the original ones seem to have been flat and quite a ways longer.
But it is nice to have these replicas and I much prefer them to the somewhat generic-looking Fanatics Breakaway jerseys with former players on them. I would actually love if M&N made more of these replicas - why not one for Ken Dryden or some of the centennial jersey from 2009/10?
My recommendation is: buy this beautiful jersey if you like the cut and/or design (size up!) and if you get a good deal on it.
